A great day for photography...

I often get frustrated with people getting in the way of a snapshot. You either have to wait for them to mosey on by or just take the picture with some stranger walking right into the shot. I always appreciate the people that pause when they see you trying to get a picture. So if you are reading this & you are one of those people, BIG THANK YOU from this photographer.

Recently I had a chance to go to Dollywood and it was a perfect day for me. I'm not big on the rides but let me have my camera with me and I'm happy as can be! I did not realize the park closed early that day and arrived a wee bit late in the day. It worked out in my favor since the rides were closed due to thunderstorms and people were clearing out. I was able to take a ton of pictures and not have to rush.



You can't beat a day like that day.

Creativity

It has its own ebb and flow. Sometimes there is so much going through my mind that I can't keep up with the ideas. Other times I just want to jump in and go but time.... time is not a friend of creativity! It truly is not.

However, I keep a camera with me because I can never be truly bored if I can take a picture of something. Yesterday I was at the mall supporting the local duck race that raises funds for the Boys & Girls Club. There was some down time and people watching only entertains me for a while.

Time to snap, snap, snap! This was one day that creativity had her ducks lined up in a row. ha!

I really wanted to put some of the ducks in here and take pictures but I wasn't sure how mall security would feel about that. It would have been a great opportunity.
